This has to be said, although my project has already reached UK by now..I completed my 5000-word report on Green Packet, woooh! I'm surprised myself that I never ranted on it even once on LJ..aren't you just glad? xD I'm never too sure if my analysis is detailed enough..I hope I can pass it. I did get to learn a few things or two about wireless broadband from doing this at least, and I can tell you that Green Packet is going to be the one to kick Streamyx's rear one day if it doesn't buck up. WiMax, I'm looking forward to youu!

Life has been quite hectic for the past weeks for that reason, and partly because of all the family preparations to help my big sis get ready for her 3 months in New York. Lucky you, all you geniuses. Yes, ka che, if you are reading this, I'm still waiting to see photos! PICCUS! >=DDDD

Khhhh~~ Omg I know it's late now, I was obsessed with it like everyone else when the films just came out and now I'm all over it again after catching Return of the King on TV a while ago..you can see how easily influenced I am. Last time it was Orli the Leggylass because 99% of my friends were Leggylass fans although deep down inside I had a thing for Frodo. xD" This time, I'm going to stay true to myself, lolol. Am currently in love with Howard Shore's orchestra music too. I experimented a bit with Youtube..will dedicate another post about it soon. Nothing much, just me on the piano. xDDD"

2. Elijah Wood and a range of his current filmographies that I had the pleasure of watching. I officially declare myself an Elwood fan now~~ I really respect him, he's such a sweet family guy, always articulate whenever he talks with this air of natural intelligence..and he's known to be very humble with fans, something very rare in Hollywood these days. He's very uke-ish too, but hehehe that's beside the point. (I can go on forever about Alex/Jonathan, Pete/Matt, and even Sam/Frodo (IRL, Dom/Elijah) to name a few OTPs in his movies) xD" He's the perfect example of a living work of art, yo. I still can't get over his uncanny resemblance to Michelangelo's sculpture, David. *___*

3. Matthew Gray Gubler from Criminal Minds. He ruined my image of Dr Spencer Reid, but in actual life he's one really cool dude. xD

Talking about Changmin, I had a very pleasant..yet strangely disturbing and weird dream about him last night. O_o; Ok, maybe only disturbing for my self-esteem, lol. Let me try recall before I forget everything..I dreamt I entered a singing competition with 3 others. It was a closed competition, sort of like an audition, and there were 3 judges (so not related to American Idol, lol!). My version of judges never spoke a word! xD" I never volunteered to participated, I think I was forced to or something..and we were all given our own themes and songs to sing. There was only the 4 of us..me, Changmin, Min Hwei (a college friend), and one more person..can't remember who. =p

I remember having a crush on Changmin even in my dreams lol oh gawd, hence I never dared approach him if you wanted to know. The songs each person sang was never revealed to each other until on that day itself. The song that was assigned to me was..the biggest joke. It was a entirely new song that I have never heard before..I forgot the tune now, it's just something random that my sleeping brain made up on the spot, I think, but I remember it sounded a bit like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star or Frere Jacque, very childish and sweet and the lyrics was French (don't ask). I'm not one who has the singing voice, but what kept me going was the determination to not make a fool of myself.

On the actual day, we had costumes and make-up and all on our separate backstage rooms..and I reassured myself I could pull off everything nicely but anyway, as one would have expected, I messed up..or at least I think I did. My theme was kiddy yellow..my costume, the backdrop and stuff. It was too bad, I had been concentrating, with emotions and all that crap but I think I failed the high notes miserably or something..somehow I just knew I wouldn't make it.

And then after my performance, I just stood aside and watched Min Hwei sing hers. It was so beautiful and elegant, and I immediately knew I where I stood..*bitter laugh* When it was Changmin's turn, it was totally a class above all of us. ;_; His backdrop was black..it was a powerful song, like DEAD END..or Requiem For A Dream. Very charming. I just stood there impressed and stunned. I dunno, maybe I couldn't bear waiting for the results to be announced, I just left off on a plane jet and flew off to Paris with my family and sat on some pretty sidewalk cafe drinking latte. ^^;; When I came back, sure enough, I was last place. No need to mention who got first, of course. Ahahah.

I don't even know why my subconscious even tried putting me on even grounds with a pro singer..just plain weird. X_x What a blow to my self-confidence asdfghjk. It's understandable that I could have some inferiority complex with my classmates because I have been underperforming on my standards, but singing, lol? No way. What a funny prank, brain. Mmm..but at last least I got to see Changmin so, it's not too depressing for my own good, lol. ^^;

Just a thought..I wonder if it was remotely related to his UFO reply at all:

I suspect it is. I think my subconscious' childishness is starting to scare me. O_O
